My Little Farmgirl Kitchen & Our New Neighbor

So, as most of you know we had to move from our home and moved into a temporary little back house in the country. We don't have a working kitchen here but we set one up to get us through our time here. We have a refrigerator, microwave, hot plate cooker, crock pot, toaster oven, electric tea kettle, waffle maker and a griddle. We have to wash our dishes in big white metal buckets...Just like the olden days out on a farm. If they could do it then, we can do it now.

I'm actually very much in love with it! We set up our
china cabinet to hold our pantry goods and dishes. I'll share more as we settle in. Not certain as to how long we will be here, but trusting the Lord's plans for us. I am quite content and very happy where we are as well as very thankful for the special family that has taken us under their wings and have given us nothing but true Chrstian love as we go through this transition.

Oh and, meet our new neighbor...
There's a big family of goats next door that we get to visit and feed a bit of tasty grass to.
They are adorable! This lil guy hung around wanting more and more sweet grass from us. I'm in love.

  2. You've made a lovely home for your family, and even if you have to wash your dishes outside, you can come back to a very cute space. I know they appreciate the little touches you've put into this space to make it home for them. The gift of homemaking and hospitality is definitely appreciated.
