Home Sweet Home Tour~ Kansas Craft House Of Meg Duerksen

Welcome to Kansas y'all!!!!
This is the home of Meg Duerksen!
She is a long time blogger over at
I have read her blog for years...She kindly allowed me to share her Craft Home with ya'll.
This home was her families home for about seven years...Until 2013 when her family moved to a smaller community. She then turned her old home into The Craft House...A lovely place  where she holds Craft Weekends & rents out the home to groups. This has always been on my dream list to do...Not sure if I will ever make it there...But if you can...I highly recommend this home as a get away for you and a group of gal friends!!!

Come on in! You are in for a treat! Her home is vibrant and colorful with a bit of a farmesque feel and filled with lot's of fun details, awesome furniture pieces...and beautiful old quilts!!!

And now… YOU can enjoy the Craft House with your friends!  The house comfortably sleeps 16.  There are three full baths and five bedrooms upstairs.  On the main floor is a giant work room to spread out and work on your craft projects or host meetings.  There is a full kitchen that allows easy entertaining & cooking together.  Meals can be eaten together at barn wood tables in the sunny eat-in kitchen.  There is a living room with comfy couches to relax or watch a movie on the TV & DVD player set up with surround sound and wifi.  A large wrap-around porch is a lovely place to have a cup of coffee and get some fresh air.  And of course we have free wifi at the house!
This house is perfect for scrapbooking or any kind of crafting groups.  We have had
* girls weekends even without crafting
*quilting groups
*church small group get-aways
*Bridal & Bachelorette Parties/weekends
*office/work retreats
*small business weekend conferences
* large family gatherings
*Wedding groups – allowing up to 16 in a group to stay together – like a hotel but better!
*College Reunion Weekends

What a sweet retreat this would be!!!! I do hope you enjoyed the tour.
 Thanks to Meg for allowing me to share this lil' gem with ya'll!!!
