My Birthday

Well it's another year down!
We were invited to my future son in laws apartment (our daughters almost new home) to celebrate my day! I got dressed up...(a first in weeks) we ordered in our favorite Mexican restaurant and watched a movie together. It was a very sweet evening. It also really opened my eyes to see.... yes, I am getting older, my children are grown adults, my daughter is about to be married and moving out with this awesome guy and we are going to be empty nesters in just two months from now! It's crazy wild, but beautiful at the same time. I am excited just thinking about going over to our daughter and new son's home and having dinner together once in a while, playing games and doing things that will be so different. I love the idea and the anticipation of it all!

I am ready to embark on a whole new season! I am bound and determined to soak it all in and enjoy the moments that God has graciously gifted us. These are exciting times!

Quarantined Easter 2020

What a blessing! Even though we are quarantined we still made every effort to celebrate our Risen Lord! The kids spent the day with us eating traditional Easter dinner, colored Easter eggs, played board games, visiting and having early birthday cupcakes. We missed the other half of kids, but they made sure to send their picture over to us! It was still very much a special day spent together, one I will forever cherish.

This year I made my own birthday cake!
Isn't it a beauty???

Gluten Free red velvet with raspberry preserves, raspberry curd, and chocolate pudding layers...And iced with buttercream/cream cheese frosting. Oh YUMMMMY!

It;s another year gone by and a year older. We went to The Cork and Cleaver with the kids and had fantastic steaks...Saw Dumbo and went back home to blow out all 23 candles...LOL....

My hubby and the kids got me flowers and gifts.....
I am blessed and that is all I really can say about it! I had also received some sweet messages from my son and Soon to be Daughter in law...My son called and sang to me too!!!  Awww my heart!!!

No words to say but Blessed!!!
