Practice Shooting With Light

A photographer friend gave me some tips on pictures...I needed a subject so out came this vintage doll. She was great to work with, she didn't even move! I am pretty happy with my results and played around with some edits. 

This coming week I'll get to take pictures of my 

 daughter and her sweetheart along with his momma. Her and I are trying to pull a portfolio together and get into a little entrepreneur business! We named ourselves Captured In The Moment Photography! Looking forward to getting pictures out and having some fun!

After 4 feedings, 6 poopies diapers and lot's of crying we only ended up with a few shots of this lil bundle. She was a feisty lil babe with a mind of her own. Oh so precious though...

It was a long day. Hope she sleeps well for her momma tonight!

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family last weekend. Slowly I am getting a hang of taking pictures of kids. Those lil toddlers though have minds of their own. It takes lot's of bribing if they are not into smiling or sitting still for pictures. Thankfully I feel like we captured a few good ones for their parents to cherish.

They are truly a delightful little family! So happy for them!
