Memorial Weekend 2017

Spent the day in Ohio with our church family for the annual Memorial BBQ. It was a lovely day spent with people near and dear to our hearts. Plus good food! After that party our daughter went to another BBQ party with her theater group. What a blessing these beautiful people have been to our lives. Now let Summer begin!!!

Just Playing Around

I brought out my 28mm lens to test shooting manual, which I am not very good at. Though I sort of like how the pictures turned out...Just need to practice a bit. Also waiting on my 70mm-300mm zoom lens to be delivered. eeep!

Pioneer Woman Wednesday

I love most of the Pioneer Woman dishes....Especially the floral in red, white, yellow, green and blues. It is so cheery and brightens up my kitchen! I love how it mixes well with my other dishes and kitschy vintage goodies. You can mix match all the bowls and it will still go together. Yummy!

Mother's Day & Antiquing; Day 4 & 5

Mother's Day was spent with our little family, went to church, and had a little dinner with my parents. Then Monday I took them out again. We went back down to Fort Wayne and hit a few antique shops, had lunch then met up for our last dinner together before they leave back home to Washington state.

It was a good time seeing my dad and step mom. Though my dad had been unwell pretty much the whole time he was here. Praying that he will figure out what is going on when he goes home to see his doctor. Other than that, I think we made some good memories together.
